Questions-Research
1. What are your three favourite music videos?
-Usher (Yeah)
-Beyonce (If i were a boy)
-Chris Brown (Freeze)
2. Why you like any of them?
-I like Freeze by Chris Brown because its eye catching/colourful and it's fun to watch all the computer generated images. *POST VIDEO*
3. What makes them effective?
-The dance moves are effective because you remember them. Also the bright colours that represnt the music videos.
4. What do you think is the purpose of music videos?
- I think the purpose is to promote the song so people can know more about the artist and also give them a meaning of the song, e.g. sad, happy, party etc.
5. How can a video be judged to be successful?
-I think when a lot of money has been put into a video can make it successful like Scream by Michael Jackson and Jant Jackson. Also, if its fun to watch/catchy, it becomes successful. Furthermore, when songs are also used in films it promotes the artists even more also, how many times its been downloaded online or the artists CD been bought morever determines how successful it is.
6. What factors must be taken into consideration when planning a video?
- I think the money, storylike, where the video will be distributed, the message in the video, target audience, whos in it, making sure it don't affend anyone (don't loose fans, gain them) all needs to be taken into consideration whilst planning a video.
